Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a fast-growing professional services organization focused on helping clients operate more efficiently, responsibly, and sustainably. Reporting to the Controller this role offers hands-on exposure to full-cycle accounting, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to grow alongside a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting
- Process and oversee accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, expense reporting, vendor setup, and payment management.
- Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Partner with internal teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit requests
- Help identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiency
- Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as the business grows
Requirements
- 6-10+ years of accounting experience (public accounting, consulting, or professional services experience is a plus)
- Working knowledge of GAAP and strong accounting fundamentals
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct and/or Concur is a plus, but not required
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
- Dependable and reliable, with a consistent track record of meeting commitments

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
