We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Quarry Laborer/Equipment Operator to join our team. This position involves some hands-on manual labor duties including shoveling, site cleanup, and maintaining areas around crushing and processing plants. The role also includes operating equipment, such as water truck and front end loader to support daily quarry operations
Responsibilities:
- Perform general manual labor duties including shoveling and site cleanup
- Clean and maintain areas around crushing and processing plants
- Drive and operate a water truck for dust control and site maintenance
- Operate heavy equipment to load trucks and feed materials into plants
- Support daily plant operations to ensure efficient and safe production
- Perform routine inspections and assist with basic plant and equipment maintenance
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment preferred
- Background in plant operations and maintenance is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with maintenance tasks
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
- Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to shovel, climb, bend, stand and work in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working around heavy machinery and equipment
