Nettle Creek School Corporation Superintendent, Mrs. Emily Schaeffer, has announced a vacancy notice for the position of Information Technology Support Assistant for Nettle Creek Schools. This is a full time position.
Qualifications
Required:

Associate's Degree in Information Technology or a related field; equivalent IT certifications and experience will be considered.

Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and the public.

Ability to troubleshoot technology issues and provide professional technical support.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Experience managing Mac, iOS, Chrome OS, and Windows devices.

Apple MDM administration experience.
-
Google Workspace administration.
-
VOIP telecommunications systems.
-
PowerSchool Student Information System.
-
Interactive displays and projector technologies.

IP-based security camera systems.
-
Door access control systems.
-
Printers, copiers, and related peripherals.

Virtualized server environments.
The Information Technology Support Assistant will assist the Director of Information Technology in supporting technology operations throughout Nettle Creek School Corporation. Responsibilities include:

Provide technical support and assistance to students and staff.
-
Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair district hardware and software.
-
Support Chrome OS, Microsoft Windows, macOS, and iPadOS devices.
-
Deploy and maintain staff and student technology devices.
-
Track repairs and technology assets through the district inventory system.
-
Assist with network infrastructure support, including cabling, wireless systems, and connectivity troubleshooting.

Assist with installation and maintenance of security camera and door access control systems.
-
Support classroom technology including printers, interactive displays, projectors, document cameras, tablets, and telephones.
-
Assist with server, backup, and technology infrastructure maintenance.
-
Support and troubleshoot PowerSchool and other district technology systems.
-
Assist with state and local testing technology initiatives.
-
Work with the Director of Learning to support instructional technology resources and instructional technology initiatives.
-
Provide technology training and guidance to staff as needed.
-
Maintain confidentiality of district data and information.
-
Perform other technology-related duties as assigned.
Terms of Position:
-
This position will be paid $19.49 per hour for 40 hours per week.
-
8 hours per day with the hours to be 7:30am - 4:00pm.
-
This is a 260 day per-year contract.
