Machine Operator

Position Overview
Join our manufacturing team and become an important part of producing high-quality products safely and efficiently. As a Machine Operator, you will operate and monitor production equipment to ensure products are manufactured according to quality and production standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and specifications.
- Operate equipment that may include CNC machines, milling machines, lathes, press brakes, stamping presses, flexographic presses, and other production machinery.
- Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, technical drawings, and other production documentation.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to verify product dimensions and quality.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical or operational issues to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance personnel.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process and identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Make basic machine adjustments and tooling changes as needed to support production requirements.
- Safely handle raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), machinery safeguards, and hand tools.
- Assist with assembly, packaging, material handling, and other production activities as needed.
- Meet production, quality, and efficiency expectations while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, factory, or machine operation environment is preferred.
- Experience operating CNC or other manufacturing equipment is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and follow technical instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers preferred.
- CNC troubleshooting and programmable logic controller (PLC) experience are a plus.
- Basic math skills and the ability to perform measurements and calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills.
- Commitment to following all safety policies and procedures.
