Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bakery Store Manager to lead daily operations at a well-established franchise bakery. The ideal candidate has prior management experience in a franchise bakery or café environment and is passionate about quality, customer service, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures
- Manage and lead bakery staff (scheduling, training, performance management)
- Ensure high standards of product quality, food safety, and cleanliness
- Monitor inventory, ordering, waste control, and cost management
- Maintain brand standards and franchise operating procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally
- Achieve sales targets and support local marketing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health department and safety regulations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience in a bakery, café, or food service franchise
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of bakery operations, food handling, and safety standards
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with scheduling, labor control, and inventory management
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Experience
- Franchise bakery experience (Tous Les Jours, Paris Baguette, 85°C, etc.)
- Experience managing both FOH and BOH teams
- Familiarity with POS systems and sales reporting
