Responsibilities
- Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Assess student performance through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and techniques.
- Uphold school policies and procedures while fostering a safe and respectful learning environment.
Experience
- Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory; newly licensed student teaching graduates and licensed cosmetologist are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference in students' lives.
- Skin care focused position, Dermalogica skin care experience preferred, but willing to train
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
