Duties
- Read and interpret detailed construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute drywall installation, framing, and finishing tasks.
- Perform drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair with precision to achieve smooth finishes and seamless surfaces.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks such as cutting, sanding, caulking, and fixture installation.
- Execute metal stud framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry work as required by project specifications.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols during all phases of work.
- Assist with water damage restoration, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and water-proofing projects to restore structures efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site activities including plumbing (including construction plumbing), drywall texturing, painting (including airless paint spraying), and masonry tasks to ensure project milestones are met on time.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with drywall installation—including taping, mudding, texturing—and drywall repair or restoration industry experience preferred.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely for various carpentry and finishing tasks such as framing, door hanging, trim carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation.
- Familiarity with construction plans related to plastering, masonry work, and water damage restoration.
- Ability to perform skilled tasks in remodeling projects involving flooring installation or construction painting using airless paint sprayers.
- MUST SPEAK ENGLISH & HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
