Tax Senior
We are a trusted CPA firm serving individuals and businesses in Franklin, MA and surrounding communities for over 40 years. We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our growing public accounting team. We are looking for a motivated professional who enjoys building client relationships, mentoring staff, and delivering exceptional tax services to privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.

What You'll Do
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates.
- Research complex tax issues and prepare technical memorandums and recommendations.
- Develop tax planning strategies to help clients minimize tax liabilities and achieve financial goals.
- Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax planning opportunities and compliance matters.
- Mentor and review the work of junior staff, providing coaching and technical guidance.
- Assist managers and partners with tax projections, consulting projects, and IRS/state tax notices.
- Stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA preferred.
- 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance.
- Experience preparing returns for pass-through entities, corporations, and individuals.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
