Ristorante Arlecchino is seeking a full time assistant manager to assist the GM in daily duties and tasks. Proficient in Aloha POS systems and open table preferred. Experience in Italian wines and private dining is a plus. Enjoy working for a family oriented company. Duties
- Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance
- Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management to foster a high-performing work environment
- Oversee food preparation and food safety standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Monitor shift performance, handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly, and ensure an exceptional dining experience
- Conduct regular inventory checks, control food costs, and optimize food production processes to maximize profitability
- Support hiring efforts by interviewing candidates and onboarding new staff members to build a strong team foundation
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food service management and hospitality leadership
- Demonstrated supervising experience with team management skills in a restaurant or culinary environment
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and lead by example
- Previous assistant manager or restaurant management experience in casual dining or hotel settings preferred
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
