Job Summary

Duties
- operate, and monitor CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment to produce parts according to technical specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and maintain quality control throughout the production process.
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling tools to load raw materials and move finished products within the manufacturing facility.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery like stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist with fabrication tasks including welding, assembly line work, tooling setup, and packaging of finished goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven factory or manufacturing experience working with machining equipment such as CNC mills, CNC lathes.
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tooling setup, mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and materials handling procedures.
- Experience operating hand tools, forklift trucks (certification preferred), and precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards within a manufacturing environment; ability to identify defects using precision measurement tools.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high safety standards in a fast-paced factory setting.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and production specifications. - Experience with Swiss a strong plus.
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
