Duties
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure high-quality dishes are delivered promptly.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures to meet health standards.
- Support the serving team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions.
- Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment using safe lifting practices.
- Maintain organization of kitchen stations, stock supplies, and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent guest services.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; banquet or hotel experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in food handling, food safety practices, and culinary tasks.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling duties safely throughout shifts.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and serve guests efficiently.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience in cooking, food preparation, or hospitality roles enhances your fit for this position.
