Job Summary
We are seeking a Experienced, detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist with prevailing wage using Elations experience to join our team.
You will be responsible for managing payroll processes, , maintaining compliance with company licenses, permits, insurance including Gl, Auto ect and regulations.
This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and technical accounting skills to support the overall financial health of the organization.
Duties
- Process payroll to payroll processor
- Process Prevailing wage to Elation's
- Maintain employee records related to payroll, including hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Handle accounts receivable tasks as needed, including invoicing and payment processing.
- manage employee benefits
- Learn Hazardous Waste Permitting and manage timely
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence.
Quickbooks financial software is essential.
- Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of financial concepts.
- Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- STRONG DESIRE TO BE IN THE PROFESSION OF HAZMAT
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 35 per week
