Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mowing & Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead a crew in our growing maintenance division. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily mowing operations, maintaining property quality standards, and ensuring efficiency and safety on every job.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a mowing/maintenance crew on a daily basis
- Perform commercial and residential mowing, trimming, edging, and clean-up
- Ensure properties are maintained to Rye Beach Landscaping’s quality standards
- Operate and maintain equipment (zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Manage daily job schedules and communicate with management using LMN Crew
- Train and mentor crew members
- Conduct site walkthroughs and identify additional service opportunities
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance or mowing operations
- Previous crew leader or foreman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of mowing patterns, striping, and property presentation
- Ability to operate commercial equipment (60” mowers, trimmers, blowers)
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
