The Talent Engagement Manager on-site is accountable for creating collaborative relationships with all end users in assigned client accounts by gaining a thorough understanding of the client’s business resulting in total customer satisfaction and attainment of financial objectives.
This person will serve as the primary on-site representative for all contingent workforce activity, maintaining a daily presence on the production floor as required.
The position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and direct recruitment for all open requisitions.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS (each duty and function listed indicates % of time):
- Manage daily attendance, timekeeping validation, call-offs, tardies, and schedule adherence for the workforce. 50%
- Conduct new hire orientations, job walk throughs, and first day check ins to ensure worker readiness and understanding of job expectations. 50%
- Perform regular floor walks to observe productivity, safety compliance, and worker engagement. 70%
- Actively participate in an interactive, supportive and developmental team environment by working remotely and/or from a designated Company location as required, in accordance with company Policy. The number of days per week in each environment may vary based on the needs of the company, the division, branch, and/or personal performance needs.100%
- Develop and implement effective and result orientated recruitment and placement strategies. 85%
- Communicate and coordinate the various aspects of the On-Site operations to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal laws and guidelines (Worker’s Compensation, Unemployment, HR, Legal, WOTC, Account Management System, etc.).100%

- Coordinate order activity, monitor performance and manage revenue of assigned client in accordance with negotiated guidelines.75%

- Participate in company trainings and leadership development meetings not directly tied to daily on-site operations 5%
- Support Client Success Manager with client audits by gathering documentation or reports 5%

- Create, implement and support employee engagement activities, such as recognition events, morale initiatives, or site celebrations, with approval from the client 10%
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years’ experience supporting a high-volume, fast paced light industrial environment.
- Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage large contingent workforces (50+).
- Creative and business writing skills (policies, quarterly/annual reviews, performance objectives, marketing materials, etc.)
- Adaptability, flexibility and ability to maintain effectiveness during change.
- Ability to work flexible/extended hours, when necessary, stand and walk for extended periods, exposure to noise, machinery and use of PPE as required.

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS (written & verbal):
- Language: English. Bilingual Spanish highly preferred.
- Must demonstrate effective written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
COMPUTER/SYSTEM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in using MS Office Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Typing speed 40+ wpm
- Current proficiency in navigating, documenting, and utilizing similar processing systems for Applicant Tracking, Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven ability to coach, counsel and document performance issues in a fair and consistent manner, adhering to law
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and PPE enforcement
- Ability to execute creative local recruiting strategies
- Understanding time to fill, retention, quality of hire and turnover metrics in a contingent environment
- Regularly communicate professionally with multiple stakeholder levels (floor Supervisors, Warehouse Manager, HR, etc.)
