Key responsibilities & requirements
- Design metallic structures and propulsion fluid systems for flight hardware, owning designs from concept through fabrication, integration, and test
- Create detailed component and assembly drawings applying GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis for manufacturability and fit
- Collaborate closely with propulsion, GNC, AIT, and systems engineering teams; support design reviews as hardware moves from EM to FM stages
- 5+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience, proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred), with spacecraft design experience
- Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or TS/SCI clearance; on-site only
