Duties
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components on heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers.
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension checks, and alignment adjustments to maximize equipment lifespan
- Fabricate parts and components using welding and hand tools to meet specific repair or customization needs
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic codes to accurately identify issues and implement solutions
- Conduct inspections of vehicle systems for safety compliance, including air brake systems, shocks & suspension components, HVAC systems, and vehicle electrical systems
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Pay: $20.00 - $38.20 per hour
