Arts and Crafts Instructor
Park Academy in Rutherford, NJ is seeking an Arts and Crafts Instructor for a one-week summer camp and weekly art classes during the school year.
The Arts and Crafts Instructor is responsible for planning and executing arts activities and providing overall supervision to campers. Specifically, the Arts and Crafts Instructor will plan and implement age-appropriate art activities for campers aged 5-13.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure the health, safety and well-being of participants in the program by providing appropriate supervision at all times.
- Plan and implement art activities that are structured, age-appropriate, fun, exciting, and challenging.
- Work cooperatively with all program staff.
- Keep track of projects that go well and those that are not as well received.
- Maintain accurate program documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified applicants should have arts experience
- Qualified applicants should have teaching experience
- Have the ability to design and implement an age appropriate Arts & Crafts program
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 per hour
