Job Overview

Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety protocols
- Develop detailed project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate tasks effectively
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with blueprints, schematics, and contract specifications
- Manage subcontractors and vendors by coordinating work scopes, reviewing contracts, and monitoring progress
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid for tracking project milestones, costs, and documentation
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met and safety regulations are strictly followed
- Prepare and review construction estimates, budgets, and change orders to maintain financial control over projects
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide on-site activities and resolve technical issues promptly
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and field teams for seamless project coordination
- Manage project documentation including reports, logs, incident reports, and compliance records efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in project scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar tools
- Extensive knowledge of heavy civil or commercial construction projects with at least several years of site supervision experience
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and contract administration
- Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and HeavyBid is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of project coordination principles including time management and resource allocation
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
