This position performs a variety of procedures utilizing nuclear medicine, mobile nuclear medicine and PET/CT equipment. Performs independently under the supervision of the Nuclear Medicine (NM) Manager and Radiologists (Authorized Users).

Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Logan Health, Kalispell, Montana

About the Role
Logan Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Kalispell. This position involves performing Nuclear Medicine (NM) and PET/CT procedures, coordinating patient care, and ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine and/or Radiological Technology
Current Montana Radiological Technology License as required by law
Minimum of one (1) of the following certifications:
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board)
Registered in Nuclear Medicine NMTCB and/or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine), or must obtain within 18 months of hire
Current CPR preferred, or must be obtained during orientation
Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy
Valid driver’s license for personal or company vehicle use
Clean driving record over the past 36 months (no major violations such as DUI, felonies, multiple moving violations, or suspended license)
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter, and critical thinker
Strong teamwork skills and commitment to confidentiality
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn additional software as needed
Key Responsibilities
Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures following current protocols
Coordinate patient care and flow, assisting patients as needed
Maintain competency, quality control standards, and understanding of exam protocols
Assist with ordering and maintaining supplies
Operate and troubleshoot equipment as needed
Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment readiness
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and perform other duties as assigned

Schedule:
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
