Job Summary

Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement at all times.
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages independence, creativity, and positive behavior management.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, attendance, and daily activities to support developmental tracking.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's milestones, behaviors, and daily experiences.
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to support effective learning environments.
- Follow all health and safety regulations including first aid procedures to respond promptly to minor injuries or emergencies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience working with children in daycare settings or similar environments such as babysitting or nannying roles.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and engagement.
- Ability to implement first aid procedures confidently when needed.
- Familiarity with special education needs and working with individuals with disabilities to support inclusive learning experiences.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, team members, and children effectively.
