American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown/PCU position requiring 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience and WI or compact RN licensure.

Work in the Stepdown Intermediate Care unit of a hospital environment
-
May be placed on a PCU, Med-Surg, or Med-Surg/Tele unit based on the traveler's skill set and greatest facility need
-
Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
-
Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Floating required within skill set onsite or to facilities within 40 miles as needed

Uses Epic EMR

Active RN license (WI or Compact) currently in hand

Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), both must be AHA
-
Minimum 2 years of PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience required

Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

US Social Security Number and US home address required

Provide acute care nursing services on a PCU, Med-Surg, or Stepdown unit based on facility needs

Radius rule applies, which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates

Travelers should begin discussing extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
