Responsibilities
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires on various vehicle types, including passenger cars and light trucks
- responsible for maintaining a clean shop and work environment
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs accurately and safely
- Assist customers by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance needs
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures to ensure a secure working environment
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and minor repairs
- Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards assisting clients
- Knowledge of wheel alignment, tire service, oil changes, and basic mechanical repairs is essential
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
