Private General Dental Office has an immediate opening for an Office floater to be able to work 5 days a week. We are looking for a long term employee, our office environment is always fun and positive! We are looking for a fun, bubbly, positive candidate with dental background experience in a dental setting and be able to communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment scheduling, verify insurance and collections. Be able to do treatment planning and know Eagle- Soft dental software is a Must! *SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY* Our office is open Mon-Wed 8:00 am-5pm, and Thurs 8:00 am-2pm.
- Minimum 1–3 years experience in a dental office setting
- Ability to work both front office and back office as needed
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Professional demeanor with patients, staff, and providers
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and office needs
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Experience with patient check-in/check-out
- Scheduling appointments and managing provider calendars
- Verification of dental insurance and eligibility
- Knowledge of dental billing, claims submission, and follow-up
- Collecting copayments and processing payments
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eagle-soft, Open Dental)
- Handling phone calls, patient inquiries, and record management
Back Office Requirements
- Assisting dentist during procedures (four-handed dentistry)
- Setting up and breaking down operatories
- Instrument sterilization and infection control
- Taking and processing dental X-rays (current X-ray license required, if applicable)
- Assisting with impressions, charting, and patient education
- Maintaining treatment rooms and inventory of supplies
- Compliance with OSHA, CDC, and state dental regulations

Qualifications are:
* Eagle-soft dental software
*Must have dental background.
*Must have excellent communication skills.
* Knowledge of dental insurance HMO's, and PPO's.
Must know how to bill to insurance companies and account receivable..
*verify insurance eligibility prior to patient appointment.
*Complete patient rout sheet for next day appointment.
*Accept and post payment to patient account.
*Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
Main Job Tasks:
Greet patients. Answer and manage incoming calls. keep up with insurance companies regarding all the patient billing record. Register new patients according to established office protocols. Move patients through appointments as scheduled. Enter all relevant patient information into data system. Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations. Schedule patient appointments. Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol. Arrange patient charts for next day appointments. Fill in cancellations and no-shows.
