Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by maintaining facility support equipment and production machinery. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, and performing repairs to ensure efficient workflow and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment breakdowns.
- Complete maintenance work orders efficiently and accurately.
- Support production operations by ensuring equipment reliability and uptime.
- Follow and maintain 5S workplace organization standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with engineering, supervisors, and production personnel to resolve maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Basic blueprint reading skills.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to diagnose failed equipment and implement corrective actions.
Preferred
- Vocational or technical school training.
- Previous HVAC experience or certification
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Frequent use of hands and repetitive motion activities.
- Ability to perform heavy physical work, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.
