What You’ll Do
- Carry and stage lumber
- Move and organize OSB/sheathing
- Keep materials ready for framers
- Assist framers with building and standing walls
- Use impact drivers and basic construction tools after training
- Make basic lumber cuts after training
- Assist with sheathing and blocking
- Keep nails, screws and framing hardware stocked
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
- Assist with setup and cleanup
- Follow instructions from Framers, Lead Framers and the Framing Foreman
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and ready to work
- Able to perform physical construction work
- Able to lift and carry lumber and building materials
- Willing to work outdoors
- Willing to learn residential wood framing
- Able to follow instructions and jobsite safety rules
- Reliable attendance
- Construction experience is helpful but NOT required
Opportunity to Move Up
This is an entry-level position with an opportunity to learn residential framing. Helpers who demonstrate reliability, learn the trade and become proficient with framing tools can be considered for promotion into higher-paying Framer positions.
Starting Pay: $75 per day
