Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other café drinks, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders with enthusiasm, and provide personalized service to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality or safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation and beverage service is a plus.
- Experience operating POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours effectively.
