SECOND SHIFT -
The Production Supervisor is a key team member at Trison Wells who works directly with quality, warehouse, production employees and supervisors to accomplish production workorders in a safe and productive matter. Verifying that quality standards are being met from raw material, batch/blending, filling to final product packaging and storing. This is accomplished by following risk analysis, standard operational procedures (SOPs), general procedures and production schedules.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the safety of all production personnel and staff assisting production activities.
2. Assure all production personnel are properly trained to recognize risk and understand how to implement safety countermeasures to mitigate and manage risks, avoiding accidents.
3. Recognize unsafe behaviors and condition, correcting or mitigating them promptly.
4. Participate in the preparation of production plans and schedules.
5. Coordinating the availability of the needed resources to accomplish production plans.
6. Assure every production work order complies with quality standards, coordinating closely with the Quality Department to accomplish quality goals and objectives.
7. Understand and comply with production standards; identifying reasons by standards are not being met; proposing and implementing action aim to meet production standards.
8. Create, review, and modify SOPs and General Procedures to increase safe, quality and productivity standard.
9. Update reports and IT system to reflex accurately safety, quality, and production records.

10. Be a technical reference in the proper operation of production equipment, by reviewing, understanding, and implementing OEM manuals, drawings, and recommendations.
11. Promote and lead continuous improvements. Focus in safety, quality, and productivity.
12. Conduct in-process checks and inspections of batching, packaging, labelling, casing, and palletizing operations.
13. Job position is considered a shift hour schedule and may include nights.
Skills:
1. Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment.
2. IT skills, especially using data analysis software and Microsoft Office.
3. Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
5. Ability to create and adhere to procedures.
6. Ability to write reports legibly and accurately.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in technology, engineering, or related fields; or 3 years of relevant experience working in manufacturing facilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
