Responsibilities
- Vigilantly monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to ensure guest compliance and safety
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, skimming, and chemical checks
- Assist guests with pool access, provide excellent guest services, and answer questions professionally
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and surrounding areas for cleanliness and safety hazards
- Administer first aid or CPR as needed, following established protocols
- Support pool maintenance activities such as pool cleaning and minor repairs to uphold facility standards
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Lifeguard, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and First Aid from an accredited organization
- Prior lifeguard experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues when required
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting during pool setup or maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of basic pool maintenance, cleaning procedures, and safety protocols
- Strong guest service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Availability during peak summer hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
