Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Child Care Director to lead and oversee our early childhood education programs. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of age-appropriate curricula that promote childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, infant care, and special education needs.
- Supervise and support teaching staff to ensure effective classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving practices.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols, to guarantee a secure environment for children and staff.
- Oversee daily operations such as enrollment procedures, staff scheduling, and classroom assignments to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Foster positive relationships with families by communicating regularly about their children's progress and addressing concerns promptly.
- Coordinate ongoing staff training in early childhood education, classroom experience techniques, working with children with disabilities, and other relevant topics.
- Manage budgets, supplies, and resources efficiently to support high-quality childcare services.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Proven experience in classroom management within daycare or preschool settings.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of educators and caregivers.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, staff, and community partners.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or developmental delays.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
