The Eye Surgery Center is looking for a Registered Nurse with proven experience to work 4 days a week in our surgery center pre and post operative care area.. Job duties include but are not limited to the following
- Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
- Complete portion of History & Physical for pre- operative documentation.
- Prepare charts.
- Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
- Complete blood draws as needed.
- Assist with preparation of patient, administration of medications, set up of laser equipment and assist with patient during laser treatment.
- Provide instructions and education to patient and/or family member.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
- Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
- Answer phones as needed.
- Provide instant medical care in emergencies
- Strong knowledge of EMR preferred.

- Proven experience as a registered nurse
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures and willingness to follow them at all times
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
- Valid nursing license
