Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems
- Utilize quality management software and data collection tools to document inspection results accurately and efficiently
- Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for detailed dimensional analysis of complex parts
- Collaborate with production teams to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions promptly
- Support calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability
Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, quality assurance practices, and quality systems management
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret measurement data and identify root causes of defects
- Ability to conduct comprehensive quality audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for reporting findings clearly and accurately
- Computer proficient
