Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. This position involves assisting servers and kitchen staff by maintaining the cleanliness of tables and dining areas, which enhances the overall customer experience.
Duties
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as necessary.
- Refill water glasses and provide additional support to guests during their meal.
- Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering services.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to food handling safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- A customer service-oriented mindset with a willingness to help others.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus, ensuring safe service of food items.
