We are looking to add an experienced Aerial Bucket operator or climber crew member to our rapidly growing team. Rausch Tree is a full-service tree care provider specializing in tree trimming, tree removal and plant health care. With 5 years in business, we provide job security for our employees by operating full-time and year-round as well as paying above the local industry standard. We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious tree service ground crew member to join our professional tree care team. You will be expected to drive to jobsites, meet and speak to residential customers, evaluate jobs and complete pruning/ removals in an efficient, safe manner. We offer opportunities for commission earning as well as support for continuing education, acquiring arborist certifications, as well as other certifications. We promote from within!
Responsibilities
- Operating Aerial Bucket truck or lift at heights and rigging
- Have a great attitude and character!
- Rigging with ropes, cutting using Chainsaws and Pole Saws
- Safely Felling trees with precision
- Working on a team and maintaining professionalism
- Perform ground-level tree pruning, trimming, and removal with precision and adherence to industry standards
- Maintain equipment such as chainsaws, rigging gear, and keep equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for team members and clients
- Ground-level pruning and trimming and hedging.
- Raking, digging, weeding, planting, watering, chipping, applying protective mulch and safe fertilizers, collecting and hauling out debris, and loading crew vehicles
Qualifications/ Experience
- Passion for the outdoors/being in nature
- 2+ years tree service experience
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions and able to lift 50lbs
- Ability to operate different equipment like mini loaders, chippers, grinders, chainsaws, etc.
- Knowledge of rigging techniques
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to climb, lift, and work at heights for extended periods
- Commitment to safety protocols and environmental stewardship in outdoor work environments
- Valid Driver’s License with no major violations (Class A/B CDL preferred or willing to obtain)
- Pest applicators license is a plus but not required
- PHC Experience is a plus but not required
- Experience in plant health care is a plus but not required

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about tree care, potential to earn $65,000 -$100,000 or more with overtime/commissions.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
