Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using toast POS systems o, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
- Upsell menu items like specialty drinks or desserts to maximize sales opportunities and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in sales processing
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive approach toward guests
- Basic math skills for handling bills, change, and sales calculations; understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn food handling procedures is essential
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
