Services include diabetes education and medical nutrition therapy for individuals with Type 1, Type 2, gestational diabetes, prediabetes, and those seeking assistance with weight management or help with other metabolic conditions (PMOS, metabolic syndrome). Role Description This is a remote, contract position in Austin, Texas. The Registered Dietitian will set their own hours, and the practice will fill their schedule. The Registered Dietitian will provide individualized nutritional counseling and medical nutrition therapy for clients with prediabetes, weight management concerns, and other metabolic issues. The Registered Dietitian will conduct nutrition assessments, develop and modify care plans, and document care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves supporting clients in behavior change, monitoring progress toward clinical and personal goals, and using evidence-based guidelines to inform recommendations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Dietetics and Nutrition, with the ability to apply evidence-based guidelines to diverse client needs.
- Candidates should possess experience in Nutritional Counseling and Weight Management to support behavior change and long-term lifestyle improvements.
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential and current state licensure in the State of Texas
- Strong communication, motivational interviewing, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered, non-judgmental care.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and basic office technology.
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
