Job Summary
Bretton Woods Market and Deli is looking for reliable, friendly, and hardworking team member to join our market and deli team. This role includes customer service, food preparation, stocking, cleaning and helping maintain a welcoming environment for both locals and visitors.
We are looking for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude and is willing to jump in wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Greet customer and provide friendly customer service
- Prepare delivery food, sandwiches, and made to order items
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Restock shelves, coolers and merchandise
- Maintain cleanliness of store and deli/kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Monitor inventory and notify management of low stock
- Help create a clean, organized and welcoming atmosphere
- Work as part of a team to keep daily operations running smoothly
Qualifications and skills
- Service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if needed
