The Bucks County SPCA is looking for a part-time entry-level Animal and Customer Care Technician who is passionate, friendly, and caring. Responsibilities of the job include caring for animals and various office duties like assisting with adoption counseling and other essential customer services. A driver’s license is required. The schedule would include both weekend days as well as holidays.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Animal Care
- Ensures that animals are fed, groomed, and exercised daily according to shelter procedures and veterinarian’s instructions.
- Keeps animal-related areas and the shelter clean/sanitized daily, including, but not limited to, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
- Office Duties
- Provides excellent customer service: greets all shelter visitors upon arrival, assists with adoptions and animal intakes as trained, and helps answer client’s questions with appropriate information.
- Completes office work, answering phones in a courteous manner, filing paperwork, and data entry/record keeping.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 per hour
