Duties
- Assist with the installation of bulkheads, piers, docks and other marine related structures.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks such as cutting lumber, timbers, drilling for bolts and other activities.
- Support barge and land based machinery and vibratory hammers.
- perform site cleanup and organize materials to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and promote a secure job site
- Assist with heavy equipment operation when necessary for tasks like excavation or material transport
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or hands-on work in marine building sites is highly preferred
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and basic heavy equipment operation
- Outdoor work experience demonstrating resilience in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail in tasks such as pile driving and carpentry.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new marine construction techniques oin both land and water.
