The 2nd Shift Robotic Welder (Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM) plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality welded components.
This position ensures welding operations meet precise specifications and strict quality standards while following all safety protocols. The Robotic Welder works closely with engineering and production teams to optimize welding processes, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support continuous improvement efforts.
The role is essential to maintaining production efficiency, minimizing downtime, and delivering consistent, high-quality welded products to customers.
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience operating robotic welding equipment or similar automated manufacturing machinery

Basic understanding of MIG, TIG, or spot welding processes

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical documentation

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Certification in robotic welding or welding technology

Experience with robotic welding programming or troubleshooting

Familiarity with OSHA and industrial safety standards

Previous 2nd shift manufacturing experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Operate robotic welding machines according to production specifications

Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to maintain quality output

Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on robotic systems

Inspect welded components for defects and report quality issues
-
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize welding processes

Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
-
Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment
The required skills ensure the operator can safely and effectively run robotic welding systems while maintaining high-quality welds that meet precise specifications. The ability to interpret blueprints and welding symbols is essential for detecting defects and ensuring product accuracy.
Preferred skills such as robotic programming and troubleshooting improve the ability to resolve equipment issues quickly and reduce downtime. Strong communication and teamwork support coordination with engineering and quality teams, while a solid understanding of safety standards helps maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
