smallSUGAR is looking to add new members to our Bakery Team. We are looking for candidates who embody our values of teamwork, leadership, accountability and inclusivity. This candidate must be highly motivated, able to work at a quick pace and eager to learn more about baking/culinary. This candidate must have weekend availability and able to work the early morning bake shifts (3am-11am).
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of in house baked good items for our concept's locations according to product specifications
- Assist with unloading the truck orders when delivered
- Maintain sanitary and organized kitchen production area, according to all governing codes, guidelines and regulations.
- Deep cleaning task
- Recipe Adherence
- Maintain walk-in/freezer area.
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per shift
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to take direction and follow instructions
- Self-Starter and Motivator
- Experience working as a contributing and effective team member
- Valid active ServSafe Certification
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years culinary experience
-Must have experience working in production bakery
-Must have experience laminating and sheeting dough
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and baking
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
- Experience in a customer service or food industry setting
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
