Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in memory care, dementia care, and working with people with developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' mental well-being.
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary, ensuring any changes are reported to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Support residents with mobility challenges, including transferring them safely from one location to another.
- Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve caregiving skills and knowledge of best practices in long-term care.
Skills
- Experience in memory care and dementia care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and resident rights.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others maintain their dignity and independence.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
