Summary
Provide strategic and pastoral leadership for ACAC Student Ministries by growing students (grades 6th-12th) as disciples of Jesus, developing leaders and teams who shepherd them, and cultivating ministry environments that move students toward resilient faith and active participation in the mission of the church.
Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership for ACAC Student Ministries (grades 6–12), with a strategic emphasis on Middle School ministry, cultivating environments where students encounter Jesus, grow in community and develop as disciples.
- Lead, develop, and shepherd the Student Ministry staff team and volunteer leaders, building a healthy leadership culture that multiplies relational discipleship and sustainable ministry environments.
- Shape and implement a cohesive discipleship strategy for middle and high school students that integrates biblical teaching, small groups, mentoring relationships, and outreach opportunities.
- Develop age-appropriate teaching environments, gatherings, and experiences that engage students spiritually, intellectually, and relationally.
- Equip and mobilize adult leaders and volunteers to serve as small group leaders, mentors, and disciples who invest consistently in students’ spiritual formation.
- Cultivate strong relationships with students and parents, fostering clear communication and partnership in the spiritual development of students.
- Create and lead opportunities for students to participate in outreach, service, and mission that extend the influence of the gospel within the church, community, and the broader Alliance family.
- Steward the Student Ministries budget with integrity and strategic alignment to ministry priorities and discipleship goals, and efficiently execute the administrative responsibilities of the ministry (calendar, communication, expense documentation, etc.)
- Develop systems for tracking student engagement, attendance, and relational connection in order to strengthen pastoral care and discipleship pathways.
- Collaborate across church departments to integrate Student Ministries into the broader life, worship and mission of ACAC.
Supervision
- The Director of Student Ministries will supervise the Assistant Director of Student Ministries.
- If a resident/intern is placed within Student Ministries, they will report to the Director of Student Ministries.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s Degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related leadership experience at a growing church Organizational Requirements
- Must be licensed/accredited as a Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA) worker or willing to enter the process within 6 months of employment
- Must indicate agreement with the C&MA Statement of Faith
- Must become a regularly participating member of ACAC within 90 days of employment
