Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse populations. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric and adult patients, including early intervention assessments for children.
- Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to address speech impairments, language delays, voice disorders, fluency issues, and swallowing difficulties.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams such as physicians, educators, occupational therapists, and families to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Educate and engage parents or caregivers on therapy strategies, progress tracking, and home practice activities to reinforce treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices by participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of pediatrics, early intervention strategies, and working with children with speech or language delays.
- Proven experience in speech therapy and language therapy across diverse populations including individuals with disabilities or speech impairments.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions.
- Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations that inform effective treatment planning.
- Skilled in implementing speech-language therapy plans using evidence-based methods for both in-person and telehealth sessions.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with patients’ families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology and patient care documentation standards.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for efficient record keeping and reporting.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for telehealth delivery while maintaining high standards of patient engagement and care.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
