We are looking for a dedicated and Driven HVAC Gas pipe installer to join our team and help ensure the smooth installation of HVAC systems for our clients.
The Gas Pipe installer is essential part of the process. This position involves installing all the gas piping throughout the house. This is done by strategic planning and sizing and amount off appliances in the home. Pipping of natural gas and LP Propane.
Key Responsibilities
- Gas Piper Installer:
- System Layout:
- Identify the best and shortest route.
- Size in accordance to the above findings.
- Prep for easy tie in at all appliances.
- Thread work:
- Read written instructions for length and fittings.
- Safely run a pipe threader.
- Correctly thread pipe with the number of threads needed for pipe to seal correctly during a pressure test.
- Pipe installation:
- Use a ladder safely to install piping if located in the attic.
- Strap pipe per local code.
- Pressure test per local code requirements. Low pressure NG, High pressure NG and LP.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed record of materials added to existing order and report to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Great attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to understand written and verbal directions.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Preferred but not a must.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and Background.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (50 – 100 pounds).
- Comfortable working in various environments, including attics, crawls spaces, basements, rooftops, and outdoor locations.
- Ability to work in cramped or awkward spaces.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
