Job Summary
The Manager Nursing Education and Clinical Resources assumes responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the department and oversight of the Professional Development Specialists, Wound Care Clinical Specialists, and IV Services, and staff. Reporting to the ACNO, Quality and Practice, the Manager serves as a key resource in planning, designing, integrating, implementing, monitoring, modifying and evaluating educational programs that assess the competency and practice of nurse and unlicensed assistive personnel.
The Manager is responsible for working with team members to establish structures and processes for developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and systems to move educational initiatives forward to standardize across the system.
The Manager, Nursing Education and Clinical Resources follows the competency development requirements outlined within regulatory agencies, American Nurses Association foundational documents, and Association for Nursing Professional Development Scope and Standards of Practice.
Education and Related Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
- Master’s degree in Nursing required
- Experience in healthcare or academic administration
- Professional Certification preferred
- Demonstrated skills in management, leadership, and interpersonal relationships
- Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Minimum three years management/leadership experience preferred
