Proxy Legal Staffing & Search Group has partnered with a growing firm to find a Title Attorney for a remote contract position. This is a remote contract role. Pay rate: $ 40 + DOE
- Review and analyze title abstracts, title opinions, deeds, leases, and related real estate documents.
- Examine chain of title and identify ownership interests, encumbrances, and title defects.
- Prepare and/or review title opinions and ownership reports.
- Interpret legal descriptions and property records.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to project managers and clients.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable state laws and project requirements.
- Meet established production and quality standards.
- Licensed attorney with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong title review and conveyancing judgment
- Ability to evaluate risks and communicate findings clearly
- Detail oriented with dependable turnaround for time sensitive work
- Experience with abstracting or title abstraction workflows
- Familiarity with remote case documentation and collaboration
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 3+ years of title related legal experience
