About Volcano Grille
Volcano Grille is a high performance hibachi craft kitchen built on precision, speed, and consistency. We cook on a flat top grill using teppanyaki techniques. Our standards are high, and every plate matters.
We are looking for a skilled, detail oriented Line Cook who takes pride in doing things the right way.
Responsibilities
- Cook steaks, chicken, and seafood to exact internal temperatures
- Execute high quality teppanyaki style cooking on a flat top grill
- Accurately read tickets and build custom plates to order
- Maintain speed and efficiency during peak service
- Follow recipes, portion control, and plating standards exactly
- Keep station clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Experience cooking steaks and seafood preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to consistently hit precise cook temperatures
- Ability to read and execute tickets quickly and accurately
- High sense of urgency
- Calm and focused under pressure
- Reliable and punctual
If you struggle with reading tickets accurately or keeping up with pace, this role will not be a good fit. We move fast and we expect accuracy.
