Goochland County is accepting applications for a Part-Time Attendant to monitor the activities of the Convenience Center by assisting the public in disposing of trash and recyclables. This is a part-time position with no benefits working approximately 25 hours per week, to include required weekends.
Criminal Background check and drug screen are required.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Directs public to appropriate areas and advises of safe disposal techniques. Maintains the site in clean and neat order; includes grass cutting, weed eating, and landscaping. Schedules the switching of open top containers and compactors. Controls traffic to facilitate the movement of vehicles in a safe and timely manner. Coordinates disposal of waste and recycling through Convenience Centers Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the operations of a Convenience Center preferred. Valid Virginia Driver's License required.
