About the Role
This is a hands-on production role focused on finishing, baking, and execution. You will receive structured onboarding and support and will be set up to succeed within our systems before being expected to work independently.
You should already have commercial baking experience and be comfortable with mixing, baking, and professional equipment. Most day-to-day mixing is handled by our Head Baker, but this role requires the ability to step into mixing responsibilities as needed once trained.
What You Will Be Doing
- Finishing baked goods for daily retail service
- Icing, dipping, glazing, and preparing products to company standards
- Loading and stocking the bakery display case with speed and consistency
- Baking a variety of scratch-made products including breads, bagels, cookies, cakes, brownies, and donuts
- Mixing doughs and batters as needed
- Working with professional mixers, ovens, fryers, and bakery equipment
- Standing for extended periods and lifting 50+ pounds in a production environment
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of commercial baking experience
- Hands-on finishing experience in a retail or production bakery
- Mixing experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning hours
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, focused team
- Weekend and holiday availability, as families rely on us for celebrations
