The Vein & Vascular Institute of Tampa Bay is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech for our Lutz OutPatient Surgical Center. The position will provide first assistance to the Vascular Surgeon in the outpatient operating suite during venous & arterial procedures. Support the overall day to day functions of the operating suite with the end goal of providing professional, high level care and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
Qualifications
· Medical license preferred (Certified ST)
· High School Diploma +
· 2 + year in medical field, outpatient OR/ experience
· Medical office and electronic health record / computer knowledge
· Basic Life Support certification
· Strong customer service skills
· Adheres to ethical principles
· Good time management skills
· Prioritizes and can multi-task
· Can function without direct immediate supervision
· Ability to travel between offices as needed
· Team player
Working conditions
Including but not limited to a 40+ hour work week with potential for overtime work on evenings and Saturdays. Travel between multiple office locations is required for this position. Prolonged standing, constant, and fast paced work flow
